The Shadow series plays with how to make a flat painting have a sculptural feeling.

I paint thin layers of ink to evoke the feeling of something living and organic.

The forms are particularly inspired by dancing overlayed with floating rock like forms. Each shape is suspended in the painting and invites the viewer to find their own narrative within the composition.
